When Is Fumigation Needed
We try to utilize Local Spot Treatments (injecting chemicals directly into the wood to travel through termite tunnels, making it a quick and affordable method), because not every pest problem requires fumigation, but there are situations where fumigation is the best option:
- Drywood termites that live inside the wood of your home.
- Bed bugs spreading throughout multiple rooms.
- Severe or recurring infestations that cannot be controlled with standard treatments.
- Pests hidden in inaccessible areas, such as walls, attics, or crawl spaces.
How Long Does Fumigation Take
Fumigation usually requires about 2 to 3 days, though the exact time depends on the size of your property and the severity of the pest problem.

How to Prepare for Fumigation
Getting your home ready is an important part of a successful fumigation. We’ll give you a complete preparation checklist, but here are some key steps to follow:
- Be sure all people, pets, and houseplants are out of the home before the process starts.
- Seal food and medications in the special Nylofume bags we provide, using a double-bag method.
- Disconnect appliances and keep interior doors open so the fumigant can circulate everywhere.
- Plan to stay elsewhere for 2–3 nights, since the property must be cleared before you can return.

Termite Treatments
Drywood Termite Treatments
Fumigation: This is the most thorough treatment as it is a whole structure treatment.  It takes 3 days and requires some preparation. Call for more details
Localized Spot Treatment: Chemicals are injected directly into the wood and it travels through the tunnels the termites have made. This is one of the quickest and affordable methods. Localized treatment can only be performed in areas that can be physically accessed, but if the termites are beyond the treated area this method is not effective.
Subterranean Termite Treatments
Subterranean Termite colonies are eliminated by treating the soil that they coming from. Two methods are used for this depending on the foundation type and how severe the infestation:
Raised Foundation: The soil below the house will be treated & we break all mud tubes the termites use.
Concrete Slab Foundation:  We will drill small holes through the concrete and inject chemicals into the soil below the foundation, we then seal the holes.
With both methods the termites bring the chemicals back to the colony, they spread it around eventually eliminating the whole colony.
